DoE VI energy efficiency certification is an energy efficiency VI reports evaluated and issued by U.S. energy department. DoE VI energy efficiency is a standard for electric power resource utilization adopted by the U.S. Department of Energy (DoE), mainly by improving the conversion rate of the power to save electricity.
That is to say, before 2014, power supply products only need to have UL certification to enter the U.S. market. But from February 10, 2016, power and power electronic products or equipment needs DoE VI certification of energy efficiency as well as UL certification to enter the U.S. market. The products are not allowed to enter the American market without both certifications.
